Chuckl. proudly presents Huntingdon XL Comedy Club at The PAC in Huntingdon.

Our XL clubs showcase some of the biggest names in comedy. Four of your favourite comedians, many of which with TV credits, including Live at the Apollo, packed into a single show for a night to remember.

Tonight’s show features the magnificent Simon Brodkin, John Robertson, Aaron Simmonds, and your MC for the evening, Mandy Muden.

Simon Brodkin

As seen on Live at the Apollo, Lee Nelson's Well Good Show and Britain's Greatest Hoaxer.

Acclaimed character comedian and “the world’s most famous blagger” - The Daily Telegraph.

Star of Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4) Simon hit global headlines multiple times for his high-profile stunts, including handing Theresa May a P45 during her speech at the Conservative Party Conference, showering disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, and surrounding Donald Trump at the opening of his golf courses with 60 swastika-emblazoned golf balls.

Simon’s most famous character is “comedy legend” (The Sun) Lee Nelson, writing and staring in two series of BBC Three’s ratings smash Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and the sketch series Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, which introduced the nation to a plethora of brilliant characters.

John Robertson

Cult favourite and creator of legendary interactive live-action videogame show The Dark Room.

A human hurricane, John has headlined festivals, theatres and comedy clubs around the world, where he arrives, plays with the crowd like nobody else can, then leaves. He’s also written 13 different solo shows, created custom work for private bookings, performed at 12 Edinburgh Fringes – SOLD OUT EdFringe 2023 and his show was recommended on the British Comedy Guide, and since 2020 his online shows have raised over £100,000 for charities including NHS, Samaritans, Shelter, Mermaids, End The Virus Of Racism, Special Effect and The Trussell Trust. He also performs customised shows for corporate events and private clients. He also has performed and hosted for clients including Google, Bethesda, BBC, Jagex and Sumo Digital.

Aaron Simmonds

As seen on QI, The Russell Howard Hour, The Stand Up Sketch Show and Rob Beckett's Undeniable

Simmonds’s comedic style is story-based, with clever one-liners interspersed throughout. He offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability, but is by no means limited by it.  Amiable, likeable and with a commanding presence on stage, Aaron is an exciting talent and is destined for great things.

"anecdotal gold.. a supremely confident and intelligent performer”

Mandy Muden (MC)

As seen on Britain’s Got Talent (semi-finalist)

“Imagine a sexy Tommy Cooper minus the fez” – Evening Standard

Mandy Muden is a one-off. She was the first woman to ever combine magic and comedy on the UK comedy circuit and has received The Magic Circle Award for Comedy in Magic. She leaves audiences astounded with both the brilliance of some (certainly not all) of her magic and in hysterics at her off-the-cuff one-liners and observations. Mandy has performed all over the world and at the most prestigious corporate events.
